I'm looking for an accessible MP3 CD player. Does anyone know where I can find one? I'm aware that the Victor product line from VisuAid plays Mp3 CD's, but my Victor Classic is not good enough. Does anyone know where I can find an Mp3 CD player that is easy to use?

When you ask if the player is accessible, what are your requirements? I think most mp3 CD players are pretty accessible, although it won't read track titles to you or anything like that. You may just need to play with the thing until you learn hte keys or get a bit of sighted help to start with. I'm happy with the Panasonic model I have, although it's not loaded with fancy features, but I wanted a good one that was well under the hundred-dollar mark and I didn't want to buy an off-brand as battery life and durability are not so great. If anything, the Panasonic models won't eat batteries, because you get around 30 or more hours on a set of AA batteries.

That woudl probably work, Sony, i have foudn to be a good company. My friend has one but I don't know if it's Sony. I think it might be, not sure, but whatever it is it's accessible. It's a sound system type thing though.

Let's add onto this topic. What brands of mp3 CD player are inaccessible and what makes them so? I ask because I always hear this question about whether this or that off-the-shelf product is accessible, but I think what's accessible to one person might not be to another. I figure unless a manufacturer hides the basic transport functions like play and stop and fast forward and rewind under a menu, the thing's accessible. Hahahaha!

How can a CD player be in accessible? Like, I dont' know how, because with CD players you just push buttons and it advances and stuff. Caitlin
